When you are walking around on a job or handling material, you may be in many dangers. Axcess knows the dangers and have instituted many safety procedures to avoid injury while moving backwards. Safety Ed wants to make sure that you know them all.
- You must always be aware of your surroundings when backing up. If you are not, you may end up hitting someone or something and causing injury or damage
- If you are moving a heavy object, make sure the load is in front of you so you can see where you are going and will be in the clear if the load gets away from you
Avoid moving backwards as much as you can. If you must move backwards, Safety Ed wants you to make sure that you check your path before moving and as often as possible while moving. BE SAFE OUT THERE!!
